For Hafiz- journeys (from Yeehui Khoo- UEL 2006)

Here are some journey mappings from a student a few years ago. He studied a sequence of spaces in Shibuya, temporally and in terms of signage, people and noise (spatial, directional)



and then did further related studies on the site (more spatial and strategic)



and eventually these evolved as programmatic channels within his project for a new city urban farm/ HGV logistics centre hybrid (programmatic). Hope this helps- although your studies will likely be more spatial and finer in scale + inhabitation.

Thanks a lot Jonathan. Will try to incorporate some of the drawing strategies for my Kyoto journey, which I think would be on a bigger transforming scale (habitation to surrounding context), so that I could express my observation on activities within the spaces and their transitional aspects.
