here are two images of the collage i'm working on. trying to have a bit of fun with it. the line quality looks different printed, not so blurry. would love some feedback. thanks zach.
This gives the cube a scale but doesn't engage in any level of inhabitation yet. You have interesting themes relating to points of focus and boundaries but they have yet to be explored in the collages. What is it like to be in a stringy space? Are there multiple scales of density, overlapping members, obscured views? What are the effects of light and shadow?
Zach, it is a good start! The collage is hinting at a depth of space, a perspective. You may want to strenghten that effect by adding shadows to the people and the objects. This can be easily done in photoshop by taking the silluettes of the perople and the objects, making them black or gay, and distorting them so to look on the ground anf in perspective. I think it can be a good image if it does not show the ground by only shadows detrming its plane. One more thing about graphics: the two images of your cube in the collage touch slightly in the middle. It will look better if they either ovelap or do not touch at all.
